Since Leapting’s Automatic Navigation PV Module Mounting Robot (hereinafter referred to as the "MMR") successfully completed its first commercial installation project in Australia a month ago, LEAPTING has received another invitation from its client. The client wishes to utilize MMR’s exceptional module installation capabilities to efficiently complete a massive project, encompassing 250MWac and around 500,000 modules.

Currently, the second batch of MMRs, having completed its preparatory testing, is ready to set off to Australia from LEAPTING’s Huzhou Factory, and is expected to arrive at the installation site by mid-June to support the development of the solar plant.

Successful Completion of Phase One: Pioneering Intelligent Module Installation

As one of the pioneering providers of automatic intelligent robots in the PV sector, LEAPTING has consistently focused on empowering the PV sector through intelligent technology and continues to push for healthy collaboration and competition in the PV sector in order to achieve the aim of “increased efficiency and reduced costs”.

LEAPTING’s core product, the MMR, was independently developed by the company from  conceptual design to commercial deployment. MMR aims to significantly increase the efficiency of the installation of PV modules, decrease labor intensity, and effectively reduce safety risks during the construction process.

Since MMR’s first deployment in Februry 2025 in an Australian solar plant project, MMR has continuously helped accelerate the installation process through its outstanding PV installation capabilities. With the help of MMR, the installation efficiency increased 3-5 times compared with manual installation, while simultaneously achieved zero damage to modules and zero casualties to workers.
